Make Extra Kitchen Tip

When making a casserole or a sauce like bolognaise for pasta, a good kitchen tip is to make twice as much. Then you can freeze the "extra" meal for another day when you don't feel like cooking.

This also works with sauces, like cheese or white sauce. Freeze these leftovers in ice cube trays and when you need to fancy up some vegetables, just defrost a few, rather than making the whole sauce again.
