I hope that the information you read on this site will help and inspire you to improve your cooking skills.

My name is Nick, and I began creating this site in June 2010. I wanted to share my cooking experiences and knowledge with other people who wanted to create delicious yet simple meals.

I wasn't always an expert in the kitchen, though! Years ago my idea of a simple dinner was heating up something frozen, or getting take-away. If I did cook something I had no idea what I was doing and usually cooked it the wrong way.

It was then that I was given a recipe book that was full of simple yet tasty meals that were quick to make.

It showed me that it was cooking was easy, and that it could be healthy too!

More than 10 years later, I am now confident in the kitchen and always on the lookout for new meals to make for my family.

It occurred to me that there must be other people out there who want to learn basic cooking, and so I decided to create this website.

I'll be constantly adding new information, ideas and features, so please bookmark my site and visit regularly!
